Animal Fun Paper Doll Quilts is a workshop where quilters mix and match design elements to create a unique & original OutLine Applique quilt. No two quilts will be alike! This pattern is available exclusively to classes. Lambert Tote Bag combines quilting, punch needle embroidery and shrink plastic embellishments to create a darling tote bag your students will love to make and use. The pattern is new for Fall 2005 and available on our Punch Needle page. OutLine Applique is a technique we developed to make it Easy & Fun to create detailed applique picture quilts. OutLine Applique is a fusible technique that automatically creates a calligraphic black outline around each applique shape. OutLine Applique is very simple but the results are far from simplistic. We think your customers will love creating detailed picture quilts using our simple technique. Anyone who can cut paper dolls can make our quilts. This is a great technique for quilters of all levels. Only basic sewing skills are needed. We have created this FREE whimsical bird pattern for stores and quilting guilds to use when teaching our Easy OutLine Applique. The pattern includes directions to add an optional punch needle embroidery flower. When the applique is complete fuse it to a square of fabric, quilt and bind it for a charming hot pad. Encourage your customers to add their bird to a tote bag or placemat, put it on a jacket pocket or frame it. The possibilities are endless!
